Peter Darlingby Austin Chant. Ten years ago, Peter Pan left Neverland to grow up, leaving behind his adolescent dreams of boyhood and resigning himself to life as Wendy Darling. Growing up, however, has only made him realize how inescapable his identity as a man is. But when he returns to Neverland, everything has changed: the Lost Boys have become men, and the war games they once played are now real and deadly. Even more shocking is the attraction Peter never knew he could feel for his old rival, Captain Hook—and the realization that he no longer knows which of them is the real villain.
Its set with the characters that you know…but not how you know it, and the end result is beautiful. The plot is not perhaps the most page turner-y but I just really liked it, you know? They were chapped by the winter air, smudged imperfect where the rest of her seemed frighteningly flawless. She clung to those lips, because if they were chapped and pretty lips there was a way to win because its owner could only be human.
Human, and as prone to chapped lips as anyone else. The night is cold and hill sides are boring. The witch flashed her a smile. The girl clenched her jaw and stuck out a hand. She weighed the sword between her hands, studying it, balancing its sharpness between her palms. The witch lunged for her, next, as she pounced for the blade and they went down again - graceless.
They tousled for a beat, two, the cold snow biting at their exposed hands and cheeks before the witch muttered a quick spell. The girl gaped, pinked by cold in the snow, limbs frozen. The witch straightened, splendid and beautiful and just as flushed from the cold, her hair in disarray. Who sent you? Instead, he pressed his lips against your fingertips, feather-light, and trailed from your palm, arm, across your collarbone to your neck.
Then your jaw, cheek and, finally, he paused close to your face. About me: I'm a creative writing graduate and author, who loves a good villain and is passionate about creating more LGBTQA genre fiction.
Give me the magic and the monsters! I have been writing as a hobby for over ten years - I have several novels nearly done, and a small armada of exclusive writing snippets, scenes and prompts to share with you all. So I want to create stories about LGBT protagonists and antagonists where it's not just about coming out, and where an antagonist's sexuality can be a positive or humanising aspect of their character instead of threatening or dismissible. Your villains should be frighting, but not because of that.
We've got a lot a lot of catching up to do! Also, gotta love a good antagonist right? Dark sides are important, everyone has one. This can be as little or as much as you like - it can even be a swing by for a month! You can change your pledge at any time, if I'm no longer creating the type of work that you want to read, or for any other reason such as you want more awesome stuff and your current tier isn't quite scratching all your cravings.

Amazing laptops give us writing tools and unlimited research we can hold in our hands. But some folks yearn for a simpler time. When a writer had nothing but ideas, imagination, and a typewriter to capture them. If you're looking for a vintage typewriter for writing, you'll find plenty of amazing antique options on eBay.
But if you're in the market for something that gives you that raw, mechanical typing feel, with a few modern conveniences thrown in and something you can buy simply on Amazon! Click the link to learn more about this beast on Amazon. But if you're not in a hurry, let's start by taking a look at the advantages of typewriters and how to buy the right one.
There's no getting around one simple truth of typewriters vs computers or laptops Typewriters do far less. You usually can't save a file and switch between documents. You can't seamlessly hop between research and writing. Some models let you correct mistakes, but it's hard to make wholesale revisions without just starting over. That kind of mechanical feedback helps you feel connected to your work in a way ultra-smooth, quiet computer keyboards sometimes don't.
The atmospheric and emotional effect of writing on a typewriter is hard to quantify, and hard to recreate using anything else. Except maybe a mechanical keyboard. Raise your hand if you've ever been sidetracked from your writing by clicking over to Facebook, checking your email, or scrolling through Instagram. It's becoming rare for people to own printers anymore. So when you want a hard copy of your writing, you'll often have to ask a friend to print it for you or pay a shop to do it.
One cool thing about typewriters is that your draft is ready to go in physical form the second you create it! It's like having a photo album vs only storing photos in the cloud. There's just something amazing about feeling it in your hands in real life. Alright, if you're already sold, and you know you want a typewriter for writing your next novel or screenplay, let's dive in to what really matters. Do you imagine yourself packing your typewriter up and lugging it to coffee shops or remote cabins for long stretches of work?
What makes a typewriter portable? Often, it's smaller, comes with a carrying case, and is manual instead of electronic. But electronic typewriters are also really cool and offer some nifty features.
They often give you a similar mechanical typing feel but allow you to correct mistakes, spot typos and word misusage, and make small variations in the font. There is a LOT of appeal in snagging an old post-war typewriter and using it to write your next novel. One word of caution, and a possibly benefit to buying something more modern and easily available: You'll need ink ribbons that fit your typewriter, and if you go with an obscure antique model, that might become a challenge.
Vintage typewriters also need a lot of upkeep, can be difficult to service and repair, and may not hold up to serious use.Skip to main content. There's a problem loading this menu right now. PillPack Pharmacy Simplified.I would definitely recommend Nordic Visitor to anyone looking for a trip. One of the best short get-aways I have ever done. The arrangements by the "Nordic Visitor" Team was superb.
Good hotels, reasonable distances to travel each day, leaving enough time to explore even with the limited daylight in late December. This entire trip was perfection. No matter where we stayed, the staff were always friendly and helpful, the food was always delicious and the views were always stunning. I've already sent several friends and co-workers a link to the Nordic Visitor website after they expressed an interest in our trip.
We had a fantastic experience. Our visit to Iceland had quite an impact on us, we did not want to go home and can't wait to visit again. Looking forward to booking other trips with you in the future. We were pleasantly surprised at the high level of our accommodations. We asked for an upgrade of a guaranteed ensuite, and all the hotels were of the highest standard.
The map with the highlighted tour and places to stop and see was very useful. The pickup and drop-off service was well worth the extra expense. The drivers were very knowledgeable and courteous. What a wonderful way to start and end the trip. We needed the emergency number when we were boarding the ferry. It was reassuring to have Nordic Visitor quickly resolve our registration problem. I was pleased with our accommodation, in particular the deluxe rooms, but it was a good experience to stay in different levels of accommodation depending on the location.
The service and friendliness of all our hosts, servers, tourist info staff, etc was one of the highlights of this Icelandic experience. Everyone we met was so helpful and kind. I will definitely recommend Iceland and Nordic Visitor to my friends. Worry free holiday, we were able to enjoy the self drive tour knowing every detail had been taken care of by Nordic Visitor.
The annotated map, showing points of interest was extremely helpful. We used it the entire tour.

Also, the GPS navigation system provided by the car rental company was indispensable. All of the documents provided by Nordic Visitor were excellent. Our tour of Iceland was one of our best ever, and we have been all over the world. Nordic Visitor made all the arrangements, did a great job of communication, documentation, and selection of facilities and points of interest.
Thank you for being there through all of our questions in preparation for our trip and for organizing such lovely documentation providing us with plenty of options to do on our tour around Scotland. The booking process was easy and very comprehensive. We received our documents in plenty of time to view our options for visiting sites while on the trip.
